Yesterday my Dad came to school to talk about fire safety.
My Dad bought along Fireman Alex too.
Alex put on the gear to show us what safety things they wore.
Fireman Shane told us what parts of the gear does. After that
they said “Does anyone have questions?”
When everyone had asked their questions he took us to the
fire truck.
At the fire truck they told us what the things on the truck
did. When they talked about the hose bit, I was really interested in it.
After he was done, we had a photo with him.
It was really cool to see my Dad at school. My face went red
when I saw him.
“Were you as red as a fire truck?” said Mrs Bullen.
“Yes!” said Olivia.
